Herbert Chenoweth Sr.
Born March 28, 1928 in Maybe, W. Va., he was the son of Ann (nee Pritt) and Carl Chenoweth.
He married Betty Lou Mace on Nov. 21, 1946, in Elkins, W. Va.
Herbert worked for the Industrial Rayon and American Cyanamid, retiring in 1977.
He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Fellowship Church and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Sue (Darwin Sr.) Jeppe, Deborah (William Johns) Clugh, both of Geneva; son, Herbert (Violet) Chenoweth Jr., of Oregon; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Anna (Sonny) Hamblet, of Florida; and brother Jerry (Carol) Chenoweth, of Perry.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brothers Marvin, Carl and Thomas Chenoweth; and son-in-law, Robert Clugh.
Family will be received 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 28 at the funeral home.
Final resting place will be Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva.
