James Louis Leagan
MUNSON TWP. – James Louis Leagan was a lifelong resident of Munson Township. He was 47.
He was the loving son of Walter and Gloria Jean Leagan; devoted brother of Emma Ann (Donald, deceased) Meyer, Jeannette (Frank Horack) Wilmot, Frank (Mona) Leagan and Erna (Howard Mabel) Leagan-Mabel; and dear uncle and great uncle.
Mr. Leagan graduated from West Geauga Schools in 1986 and served in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1989.
Jim served for 22 years as a volunteer fireman in Munson and Newbury townships, and as a paramedic with Tri County Ambulatory Services for the past seven years.
He was a member of the Nelson Ledges Raceway Safety Team and enjoyed riding motorcycles, sport shooting and spending time with family and friends.
James family will receive friends at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, in Chester Township, where services will be held July 1.
Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, in Chester.
