Kathleen E. Lopaska
MIDDLEFIELD – Kathleen E. (nee Dragolich) Lopaska, of Middlefield, died March 7, 2014, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center. She was 67.
Born Jan. 27, 1947, in Cleveland, to Frank and Catherine (nee Colaric) Dragolich, she had been a longtime area resident.
She was a member of Sultana and a past president of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary in New Port Richey, Fla.
Kathleen was a member of SS Edward and Lucy parishes in Parkman Township and Middlefield Village.
Survivors include her husband, Peter, of Middlefield; son, Michael (Angela), of Burton; grandchildren, Andrew, Christina, William and Gabriel; sisters, Carol Suchan, of Shertz, Texas, and Diane (Roger) Wheeless (formerly Passanisi), of Sherman, Texas; brothers, Frank (Kathy) Dragolich, of Huntsburg Township, and Dr. William (Connie) Dragolich, of Dallas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers-in-law, James Suchan and Frank Passanisi.
Private family burial will take place.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. March 12 at St. Lucy’s Mission, 16280 Kinsman Road, Middlefield.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. March 11 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
