ZANESVILLE – Margaret Balogh, of Zanesville, passed away June 20, 2014, at The Oaks at Bethesda. She was 95.
Margaret was born on May 5, 1919, in Garfield, N.J., to the late George and Teresa Baky Kurak.
She was a retired school teacher for LeRoy Elementary School in the Lake County school district. She also was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.
Margaret enjoyed gardening, spending time with grandchildren, crocheting and traveling.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Balogh, of Dresden, Ohio, and Douglas (Deborah) Balough, of Carmel, Indiana; and four grandchildren, Lindsey, Meredith, Spencer and Hannah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Balogh, in 1990; and siblings, Helen, Charles, George, Olga and Terri.
Visitation will be June 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at The Snouffer Funeral Home, 1150 West Military Road, Zanesville. Funeral will follow at 1 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. June 29 at Huntsburg Cemetery in Huntsburg Township.
