Raymond A. Miller

WEST FARMINGTON – Raymond A. Miller, 59, entered eternal rest peacefully Wednesday afternoon, March 19, 2014, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.

He was born in Middlefield, on Dec. 4, 1954, to Andy D. J. and Lydian (Troyer) Miller.

Raymond married Rachel Byler on Oct. 26, 1978, and was ordained a minister on May 7, 1994.

He was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be missed by: his loving wife, Rachel; mother, Lydian Miller; mother-in-law, Sarah L. Byler; children, Robert (Nancy) Miller, Raymond (Laura) Miller, Rosanna (Steven) Kurtz, Esther Miller, all of West Farmington; 12 grandchildren; 3 brothers; 5 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by: his father; father-in-law, Mahlon J.E. Byler; and son, Joseph R. Miller.

Funeral service will be held  at 9:30 a.m. March 22 at 6840 Curtis-Middlefield Road., West Farmington, with Bishop James Miller officiating.

Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.

Raymond’s final resting place will be in Bundysburg Road Cemetery, Middlefield Township.
