Benefits 6th-Grade Trip

Burton Elementary School’s annual sixth-grade trip to Camp Hiram House is May 13-16. The camp has become a tradition where the students get to participate in a curriculum-based outdoor experience, enjoy educational activities, do some light chores and have fun.

Several parents and teachers have organized a fund-raiser to help lower the cost for students attending. A craft and vendor show will take place April 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Burton Fire Department, 13828 Spring St. There will also be a bake sale and 50/50 raffle.

Featured vendors include: Thirty-One, Origami Owl, Mary Kay, Scentsy, Paracord Crafts, In a Pickle, It’s a Wrap, Perfectly Posh, Kitcheneez, Primitive Cratfs, Velata, Miche, Steeped Tea, Beauticontrol, Tupperware, Enchanted Kettle, Simply Tallulah, Tastefully Simple, Arbonne, Pampered Chef, Jam Berry, Lilla Rose and more.

All of the proceeds will go toward students attending.

Contact Heather Valvoda at 440-226-0669 or Candace Holland at 440-829-8883 to donate baked goods to sell or volunteer one’s time.

For information regarding the camp, fundraiser, or to make a monetary donation, contact Amy Hochschild at 440-834-3380 ext. 1101 or amy.hochschild@berkshireschools.org.
