The fourth-graders at Cardinal Intermediate School have been studying Ohio history. The students picked a person who was important to Ohio.

The students researched, made posters and costumes so the school could create a Famous Ohioans Museum. Students from Jordak Elementary walked around and were able to listen to and talk to many famous Ohioans like Neil Armstrong, John Glenn, Thomas Edison, James Garfield, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Annie Oakley and many other interesting people. Everyone had fun and learned much information, which they shared with the community.

Huskie Athletic Complex

Auburn Career Center architecture students presented their renderings of the Cardinal Huskie Athletic Complex during a press conference held at the Cardinal Board of Education office.

The Huskie Nation Foundation, a nonprofit foundation, asked the students in the program to provide drawings of the anticipated complex. The foundation is currently accepting donations in the form of cash, materials and labor to fulfill their vision of building an athletic complex that will provide the community with an all weather track, turf football field and concession area for all outdoor sports fans.
