The artwork of Kenston Middle School sixth-grader Adam Farrell was accepted in the 2014 Ohio Art Education Associations’ Youth Art Month. Only 124 pieces of artwork were selected for this juried show.
The art exhibition by Ohio students in grades kindergarten through eight is on display at the State Teacher’s Retirement System (STRS) building in Columbus during March.
Tyler Lance was selected Kenston’s Chagrin Valley Rotary Club Student of the Month. He maintains a 3.7 grade point average.
He is an AP Scholar earning a 4 or above on AP U.S. History, AP English and AP Government exams.

While Tyler played baseball his freshman year, he can now be found running all the time. He was selected cross country team captain and is a varsity letter winner in both indoor and outdoor track. This summer, Tyler will join the Bike-Ohio race team.
Tyler has worked at soup kitchens, fish fries and pancake breakfasts as part of Holy Angels Church. He has also volunteered at The Weils and Independence Village and for WomenSafe.
He plans to study mass media communications at either Syracuse, Dayton, Ashland, John Carroll or Allegheny.
