Best wishes to the class of 2014.

School ended for students on May 28. School resumes for the 2014-15 school year on Aug. 18.

Student Council Officers

Kenston High School Student Council officers for the 2014-15 school year will be: Josh Sekerak, president; Kate Blackburn and Jake Slibermann, co-vice presidents; Ashley Jenkins, secretary; and Jenn Smith and Ali Smith, co-treasurers. Member representative is Evan Berry.

2014-15 Class Officers

Kenston High School class officers for the 2014-15 school year were elected by their peers.

Representing the class of 2015 are: John Coming and Corban Joyce, co-presidents; Kate Blackburn and Carmen Gianguzzo, co-vice presidents; Parker Deuley and Ty Fisher, co-secretaries; and Hannah Cubberley; and Sam Obringer, co-treasurers.

Junior class officers are: Carly Artino and Jessica Sciuva, co-presidents; Ashley Braun and Kaitlyn Lyons, co-vice presidents; Kendal Bodlak and Caroline Madden, co-secretaries; and Erica Abbarno and Chloe Sferra, co-treasurers.

Sophomores class officers elected to represent the class of 2014 are: Kaitlin McGrath and Ellie Schabel, co-presidents; Jenna Blackburn and Kiara Kestranek, co-vice presidents; Grace Walls and Lukas Palumbo, co-secretaries; and Paige Owen and Garrett Scocos, co-treasurers.

Freshman class officers will be elected in the fall.

All Academic

Congratulations to the students who earned All Academic honors for 2014 spring sports. To be selected for this award, students must have a cumulative average after seven semesters of 3.25 GPA or better and have lettered in their sport for two years.

Baseball student athletes were Nathan Blake, Anderson Ellis, Mitch Lyon, Mike Rosinski and Peter Rozman. Fastpitch players Katie Gross and Sarah Secura received All Academic honors from the Chagrin Valley Conference.

Boys tennis players honored with All Academic awards were Tanner Banning and Chris Hoffman. Track and field athletes Kendall Althans, Alex Bester, Kristina Kazimir, Macie Kleis, Jaime Kosiorek, Tyler Lance, Chaz Manocchio, Allie Molnar and Chris Ross were recognized for earning Conference All Academic honors.
