Motivational Speaker Returns

Bobby Petrocelli, Ledgemont’s favorite motivational speaker, will return to speak at Ledgemont Junior-Senior High School on Feb. 26 at 12:30 p.m. in the school gym. Petrocelli speaks from the heart about his personal experiences, his triumph over tragedy and the power of one decision.

His honest and open manner and his engaging sense of humor make him a favorite of high school and middle school students alike. They find it is very easy to talk to and relate to Bobby, whose presentations have something relevant for everyone.

His book “10 Seconds Will Change Your Life Forever” underscores the importance of personal choices, forgiveness and the power of one individual to change the world around him.

In November, the Ledgemont High School Project Love group was awarded the Amanda Wein School Kindness Award from the Wein family and Project Love. The money that accompanied that honor, along with a speaker grant from Kinectico, made it possible to bring Bobby back to Ledgemont. It is the fourth time since 2001 that Bobby has visited the school.

Project Love advisor Carol Leikala says, “We consider him part of our Ledgemont family.”
