Fourth-Graders Collaborate

The fourth-grade students in Ms. Theresa Matteo’s class worked together in small groups to create a poster and present information to their classmates. Collaborative learning is an educational approach to teaching that involves groups of students working together to solve a problem, complete a task or create a product.

STEM Students Design Parks

Sixth-graders in Mrs. Halle Davis’s STEM class work in small groups and collaborate to develop a park in a 400-acre wooded area. Each group works together to create relief maps for its park and design a business plan complete with brochures.

@HeaderML:NDES Presents

‘Willy Wonka Jr.’

NDES Drama Club members, under the instruction of David Malinowski and Jack Radicelli, recently presented “Willy Wonka Jr.” The drama club is just one of many extracurricular activities the school offers.

Principal for The Day

NDES students Lilianna and Hayden Dixon became the “principals” for the day. A live auction item at the March auction allowed this brother and sister and some friends to host a few fun events at the school. Among the highlights of the day was a movie, dress down day and a nature walk.
