Father-Daughter Dance

The Notre Dame Parent Association recently held its annual father-daughter dance. NDES girls from preschool through eighth grade and their fathers traveled to the Far East. Each girl received a photo, enjoyed a scrumptious Asian themed lunch and spent quality time with her father.

Study in Forensic Science

Third-graders in Mrs. Joelle Coates and Ms. Alexandra Lestock’s class learn how to solve a crime in STEM class. Sergeant John Begovic discussed the step-by-step procedures used at the crime scene, processing evidence and the technology and methodology used to solve the crime. The students then recreated a mock crime and used what they learned to gather, process and study evidence to solve the crime.

Eighth-Grade Visits U.S. Capital

Eighth-grade students recently traveled to Washington, D.C. Among one of the highlights of their trip was visiting Congressman Dave Joyce.

Jesus Day Celebration

In preparation for their first communion, second-grade students celebrated Jesus Day. The retreat day consisted of three craft stations, a presentation by Mary Lou Beers and lunch.
