From the Sidelines: Jessie Tull
February 27, 2014 | No Comments

Anytime a student-athlete is seriously injured it’s heart-breaking. But it’s worse when it’s a senior. Jessie tore her ACL in her left knee Jan. 22 on her way to the basket.

LISTENING: The song 23 with Miley Cyrus is one of our team’s favorite songs. We have a dance to it that we do in the locker room before every game so we’ve kind of grown to like it! The last song I purchased was We Own It by Wiz Khalifa and I really like Justin Timberlake’s new album.

WATCHING: Remember The Titans. When I was younger, my brother, my dad and I would all watch it together. It brings back a lot of old memories! It also relates to our basketball team this year. Our motto this year is “Family” and that really describes us as a team.

SUPERPOWER: I would want to read people’s minds. It would be cool to see what people are thinking, but I would want to have control over when I read their minds.

BEDTIME: During the week I try to be in bed by 10. Some nights it varies based on how much homework I have or where our game is but I’m usually asleep by 11.

COLLECTING: I do have a lot of phone cases. My friends always joke about how I have an ‘obsession’ but I really don’t.

COLOR: I have never liked the color yellow. I’m not sure why I don’t like it; it just doesn’t appeal to me. I don’t have anything yellow and I don’t plan on getting anything!

GRADUATION: Going to college. I applied to both in state and out of state schools. I’m still waiting to hear back from 2 schools so once I know their decision I will go back and do another visit. I’m still deciding if I want to play basketball in college so that might affect my decision.

TRAVEL: I’ve always wanted to go to Italy. Actually as my graduation present from my aunt and uncle, I’m going with them to Italy and to see some other parts of Europe!
