NDCL Names New Softball Coach

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin has named Bruno Biello its next head varsity softball coach, replacing long-time staple Jack McParland.

“We are excited about the hiring,” said Athletic Director Frank Platzar. “Bruno brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to this position. He also has great summer and travel league background as well as high school head coaching experience which will help keep Lions softball as a top notch program.”

Biello comes with 17 years experience, most recently as head coach at Hathaway Brown School. Hathaway Brown won 17 games last season, from two wins in 2010. Biello is also the current president of the Ohio Hurricanes travel softball program.

“I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of such a well-established and respected program at NDCL,” Biello said. “I am really looking forward to working with the team to continue to build upon the successful history of this program.”
