Bainbridge Community UCC, LGBTQ+ Allies of Lake County, and Equality Ohio are partnering with Community Church of Chesterland and Social Justice Advocacy Ministry of Federated Church Chagrin Falls to hold a rally at 1 p.m. Oct. 10 for transgender rights at Bainbridge Community UCC, 17751 Chillicothe Road, Bainbridge Township.
All who wish to be supported, show support, learn more and do more for the affirmation and equal treatment of transgender people are welcome. Speakers will give perspectives on what it means to parent a transgender child and be a transgender person in a time when forces of exclusion are seeking to stigmatize and marginalize the trans community. Equality Ohio will also give an update on events and actions in Ohio and attendees are invited to write public officials then and there.
