Burton Village Council listened Jan. 10 to Geauga-TV owner and manager Dave Jevnikar’s presentation on the coverage his cable network gives Burton Village and the Berkshire Schools district for the last 25 years, but took no action.

Burton Village Council listened Jan. 10 to Geauga-TV owner and manager Dave Jevnikar’s presentation on the coverage his cable network gives Burton Village and the Berkshire Schools district for the last 25 years, but took no action. Council’s 3-2 vote not to renew the village contract with G-TV for 2022, taken Dec. 20, was not reversed Monday. G-TV cameras were not present at the Berkshire Schools Board of Education meeting held just before council met and it was noted G-TV no longer has a contract with Burton Village for coverage of events, including sports events for Berkshire Schools.
