Joe Cindric and Justin Falcone won the race for two Thompson Township trustee seats in the Nov. 7 election. Cindric, who was appointed to fill an empty seat in August, ran to complete two years of a four-year term. Falcone ran against incumbent Al Safick Jr. and candidate Patrick Dwyer, and Cindric defeated candidate Joseph Jirousek. Cindric garnered 478 votes and Jirousek received 396 votes, according to the final unofficial results of the Geauga County Board of Elections.
