Bainbridge Township’s decision to regulate food trucks operating in the township raised questions at the Geauga County Planning Commission meeting Nov. 9 Commission Chairman Charlie Stevens said the Bainbridge Township Zoning Commission’s proposal to the Geauga County Prosecutor’s Office received the green light as food trucks may affect public health and safety. Vice Chairman Caterina Cocca-Fulton said there has to be a compelling government interest and the regulation has to be narrowly defined to stand up in court.
