The evening of March 16, the Newbury Board of Education regretfully accepted the resignation of prominent community member and longtime school board member Kenneth Blair Jr. after 44 years of service on the Newbury Local School Board. The board commends Mr. Blair for his dedication and many years of service to the children of The Newbury Local School District; he will be greatly missed as a member of the board.
The board is currently taking applications to fill Mr. Blair’s vacancy. The board requests all applicants submit a letter of interest to the Newbury Board of Education President Susan Arnold at sarnold@newburyschools.org or mail to Newbury Local Schools, 14775 Auburn Road, Newbury, OH 44065 by April 6.
