Nights Out In The Parks
Introducing Nights Out in the Parks mid-May through mid-August four outdoor amphitheater shows, two art workshops and one outdoor movie night especially for enjoying the arts in nature.
Fairy Gardens Workshop
May 16, 7-8 p.m.
West Woods Nature Center
$20 fee. Registration required.
Jewelry, Wine and Friends Workshop
July 11, 7-9 p.m.

Nights Out: Live Music Shows
Saturdays, 7-8:30 p.m.
Big Creek Park
Concerts take place in the outdoor amphitheater, with refreshments served. All are registration and fee free.
Chardon Polka Band on May 30; Hot Djang on June 27; The JiMiller Band on July 25; and The Craic Brothers on Aug. 22.
Movie Night Under the Stars
Aug. 8, 7-8:30 p.m.
Chickagami Park
Watch Disney’s “A Bug’s Life,” complete with real bugs and bug activities.
Spring Bird Sit
May 9, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The West Woods
Dress for the weather and bring a chair and binoculars; signs will be posted en route to the assigned location. The Silver Creek shrub-swamp floodplain provides great habitat for migratory spring birds.
