Animal Fact Bookmarks
Students in second grade just completed an animal study unit. During that time, students did research and learned facts pertaining to their animal. As part of this unit, students created bookmarks with facts about their animal.
Second-grader Kelly Kolenic thought it would be a great idea for the class to share their bookmarks with Mangia! Mangia! Her idea was to have servers give a bookmark with animal facts to patrons of the restaurant when they get their bill. Newbury spoke to Natalie Corrigan at Mangia! Mangia! with Kelly about the idea and the restaurant has graciously agreed to pass out the bookmarks.
