The Lakeland Civic Chorus will embark on the 2017-18 civic music season with a celebration of autumn when they present “The Second Spring: Where Every Leaf is a Flower” in the Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center, on the college’s main campus at 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland.

The Lakeland Civic Chorus will embark on the 2017-18 civic music season with a celebration of autumn when they present “The Second Spring: Where Every Leaf is a Flower” in the Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center, on the college’s main campus at 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $2 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the college’s box office on the date of the concert or in advance by calling 440-525-7134 or online through lakelandcc.edu/arts.

Fairmount Session II Registration

Registration for the fall session II is open at Fairmount Center for the Arts. Session II runs until Dec. 10. In addition to the popular classes, workshops and lessons, new classes in youth tap and ballet, teen and adult ballet and jazz dance are offered.

Fairmount was awarded Cleveland Magazine’s 2017 Best of the East winner in the category of ‘Best Dance/Theater Instruction.’ In honor of the achievement, Fairmount dancers will enjoy a unique and special opportunity to dance in the Connor Palace at Playhouse Square on Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at Fairmont or online at www.playhousesquare.com.
