The Auburn School Alumni Reunion dinner will be held May 20 at Adam Hall on Washington Street. There are graduates from 1933 to 1981, but the committee would also like to include those who attended in the 1990s before the school was closed.

GOP Coffee Conversations
March 24, 9 a.m.
The Geauga County Republican Party will hold its quarterly Coffee Conversations at its headquarters at 100 Center St., Suite 250 in the Chase Bank Building in Chardon. Use parking spaces in the back lot.
Geauga County Common Pleas Court Judge Carolyn Paschke will begin speaking at 9:30 a.m.

Grange Chili Cook-Off

Huntsburg Grange is holding its 18th annual Chili Cook-Off in the Huntsburg gym. Event also features a live band, 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, big item raffle, cake walk and kids games.

Chardon Twp. Easter Egg Hunt
March 24, 11 a.m.
The fourth annual Chardon Township Easter egg hunt will take place at Chardon Township Park, 9949 Auburn Road. The hunt is for children walking age to 10 years old.
Bring a basket or bag. There will be prizes for each age group and an appearance by the Easter bunny.
Food Pantry Open
March 30, 10 a.m. to noon
The food pantry at Chester Christian Center will be open to anyone in the community who is in need of food. One does not need to be a member of the church to come to the pantry.
The church is located at 11815 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township.
Chardon Easter Egg Hunt
March 31, 11 a.m.
The annual event begins with a pancake breakfast from 9-11 a.m. at Pilgrim Christian Church, 202 South Hambden St., Chardon. Price is $8 for adults and $6 for children 10 and under and includes the opportunity to take photos with the Easter bunny.
The bunny will then head over to Chardon Square for the Easter egg hunt, which begins at 11 a.m. The hunt is free and open to children 8 and under. Children are asked to bring their own baskets and will be divided into separate age groups for the hunt.
Sponsored by Lucas Pest Control, the event is hosted by the Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce, the Chardon Square Association and Chardon Tomorrow.

VFW Offers CCW Course
April 7, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Enroll in a NRA concealed carry weapons (CWW) safety course at Middlefield VFW Post 9678, 16013 E. High St, Middlefield. The class will provide the Ohio CCW eight hours required firearms training, including classroom and fire range instruction. The course is for beginners and the experienced shooter. The $60 fee benefits Veterans in Need fundraiser. Registration is due by April 1. Joe Stehlik is the instructor.

GOP Lincoln Day Dinner

The Geauga County Republican Party will hold its annual Lincoln Day Dinner at the Tanglewood Club, 8745 Tanglewood Trail, Bainbridge Township. The VIP reception begins at 5:30 p.m., with general admission at 6:15 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
Keynote speaker is state Sen. Frank LaRose, the 2018 Republican candidate for Ohio Secretary of State.

Enjoy an evening celebrating the achievements and continued progress of DDC Clinic at the Federated Church Family Life Center in Bainbridge Township. Event includes hors d’oeuvres, small plate entrees, live music, bake sale, basket raffle, and silent and live auctions. Hear a special presentation on the clinic’s work by Dr. Heng Wang, DDC Clinic medical director.

Spring Tree Sale

Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is holding its spring tree sale at the Geauga County Fairgrounds in Burton. The sale offers a streamlined selection of both bareroot seedlings and 1-3 gallon container trees and shrubs. Rain barrels and compost tumblers are also available.
