The Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) welcomes back Dave Cvelbar, wood artisan, to its program held at the Heinen’s Café, 402 Center St. in Chardon. The educational event is free and open to the public. No reservations are necessary.

Cvelbar creates functional artworks using wooden materials in their natural state. Based in Munson, he has been a Geauga resident for over 25 years.

International Make Music Day

June 21, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Celebrate the summer solstice and International Make Music Day by bringing one’s voice, instrument, banjo, tambourine, guitar or just a happy face to enjoy the music of The Geauga Sweet Strings, The Good Times Band, musicians from the Tune Traders and many other groups at the Burton Public Library, 14588 W. Park St. Participate in a wonderful coming together of all nations in the playing of music, singing and dancing. The library will provide activities for kids to make instruments from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
