Fairmount Fall Registration
Fairmount Center for the Arts is now accepting registration for its fall session of programs. Classes and music lessons begin the week of Aug. 27.
Programming includes classes in dance, theatre, music, visual arts and fitness. Classes are offered for preschoolers through adults in all arts disciplines.
The Youth Theatre Lab will present the production of “Annie Jr.,” directed by Patti Susman, at the Mayfield Village Civic Center.
In addition to classes and private music instruction, Fairmount is also offering several special programs this fall.
On Oct. 6, Fairmount will offer a special night at Patterson’s Fruit Farm in Chester Township. The evening will include pizza, cider and donuts, as well as a hayride, bonfire, art-making and dancing. Tickets are $10 per person Children under 3 are free.
Fairmount will offer an “All the Arts Adventure Camp” for youth ages 5-12 on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will rotate through workshops in dance, theatre, music and art. All arts supplies included. Participants bring a packed lunch, water bottle and snack. Cost is $45. Preregistration is required.
FCA Kids Night Out is Dec. 7, from 6-9:30 p.m. Youth ages 5-12 will enjoy a holiday themed night exploring workshops in dance, theatre and visual arts. Pizza and a sweat treat are included. Cost is $30 per child and $25 for each additional sibling.
