Preschool Off to Roaring Start
Preschool students at Notre Dame Elementary School are having a wonderful start to their year. They have been enjoying working with friends and teachers to truly live out the “Better Together” school theme.
Students are working in purposeful learning centers with their peers and teachers this year. They have great weekly visits from Mrs. Mysyk, the school librarian, where they enjoy literature and songs together. They are also learning more about themselves through the Good Shepherd prayer services with Sr. Margaret Friel and the Dina School lessons with Miss Peta.
Lion Pride at Sports Rally
NDES students in grades five through eight traveled down the hill on Sept. 13 to join the NDCL community to celebrate Lion pride at the fall sports rally. NDCL students organized and led cheers, games and giveaways for the energetic crowd of students and staff who showed their Lion pride by participating in amazing spirit games. Some NDES students even played with the NDCL marching band.
