Winter/Spring Session of Programs Begins Jan. 14, Registration Begins Nov. 26

Fairmount Center for the Arts has elected a new board of directors to provide vision and leadership to the nearly 50-year-old non-profit arts education organization.

At FCA’s annual meeting on Nov. 1, from left, Lorraine Szabo, Rick Solon, Margaret Carlson, Melanie Maloney and Toby Maloney were elected to the board.

FCA also renamed the former Studio B the “Matthew P. Figgie Studio” in honor of the center’s former chairman who died suddenly in August.

For nearly 50 years, FCA has provided classes, workshops, community performances and opportunities in music, dance, theatre, visual arts and fitness.

The winter/spring session of programs begins Jan. 14 and registration begins Nov. 26.
