To help our local senior community, their friends and family members to better understand hearing issues, Medicare Advisors of Ohio is hosting this event: 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Geauga West Library at 13455 Chillicothe Rd. in Chesterland.
The speaker will be Dr. Mohamed Hamid, MD, PhD. The event is free and open to the public. Topics will include: Diagnosing and treating hearing loss, choosing hearing aids and much more.
Hamid has more than 30 years of experience as a physician, audiologist and neuroscientist. He specializes in otology and neurotology focusing on hearing and ear-related diseases and disorders. His clinical expertise include hearing loss, dizziness, vertigo, Meniere’s Disease and migraine. Hamid has co-authored a book, “Medical Otology and Neurotology: A Clinical Guide to Auditory and Vestibular disorders”. He has also founded and led several national and international hearing and balance centers including the Vestibular Medicine Center at Cleveland Clinic and The Cleveland Hearing and Balance Center.
