The Berkshire Local Schools extends its congratulations to everyone at Burton Elementary School for receiving the Gold Recognition Award for 2019 for its Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (P.B.I.S.).
Winning a gold recognition comes as the result of a yearly evaluation made by the PBIS Network via the 16 Ohio State Support Teams (SST) that consider school districts’ implementation of the program. Burton Elementary School has demonstrated a visible display of positive behavior throughout the building with the help of its dedicated staff members.
For winning a gold recognition, Burton Elementary School leadership will be recognized at the fifth annual 2019 Ohio PBIS Showcase on Dec. 11 in Columbus. Congratulations Burton Elementary for earning a gold recognition from the state of Ohio for its efforts to promote and reinforce positive behavior.
