Preschool classes celebrated fall by visiting Eddy's Fruit Farm.
Apples, Apples and More Apples
Preschool classes celebrated fall by visiting Eddy’s Fruit Farm. They toured the farm, learned about all the different kinds of apples and were able to pick and eat them, too. The students continued to work with apples all week in class and Mrs. Flynn’s class even made applesauce.
The kindergarten class went to Patterson’s Fruit Farm and Fun Fest. Students started their day at the farm, walked the orchard, toured the market and enjoyed a crisp apple snack. One student commented on how cold the walk in then cooler was. They finished their day hiking, climbing and getting lost in the corn maze at the Fun Fest. They also continued learning and experimenting with apples all week in the classroom, and then made applesauce to enjoy.
Fall is off to a great start at St. Mary’s.
