Ledgewood Christian Church is hosting its free community breakfast at the church located at 8261 Kinsman Road in Russell Township.

Ledgewood Christian Church is hosting its free community breakfast at the church located at 8261 Kinsman Road in Russell Township.

The menu includes pancakes, sausage, salmon patties, juice, coffee and tea. Ample parking is available in the rear of the church. All are welcome. Questions? Call Jeff Angle at 440-564-5912.

Pasta Dinner and Raffle

Feb. 15, 4:30-7 p.m.

The public is welcome to attend a pasta dinner and raffle benefitting the Berkshire music programs at the Bond Building at Century Village in Burton. The event features a performance by Berkshire band and chorus, auction baskets, 50/50 raffle and door prizes. The auction drawing is at 7 p.m.

GOP Candidates Forum

Feb. 17, 6-8 p.m.

The Geauga County Republican Party will host a free candidates forum at Chardon Middle School – LGIR Room, 424 North St., Chardon. Doors open at 5 p.m.

The public is welcome to come meet and hear from Republican candidates on the March 17 primary election ballot.

Free Community Dinner

Claridon Community Helps is serving a free chicken dinner at Claridon Congregational Church located at the corner of Mayfield and Claridon-Troy roads.

Blackbrook Audubon

Feb. 18, 7 p.m.

Blackbrook Audubon will host Dr. Andy Jones, curator of Ornithology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as he presents “Migration All Around Us: How Birds Navigate the Americas” at Penitentiary Glen, 8668 Kirtland-Chardon Road in Kirtland. Dr. Jones will present the results of Lights Out Cleveland, including insights from rehabilitating birds as well as a new discovery from the collision patterns across the city. The program is open to all.

Then, on Feb. 23 at 8 a.m., join Blackbrook for its monthly Important Bird Area survey at Beaty Landing. Meet in the parking lot at 543 East Walnut Ave. in Painesville.

Dems Host Candidates’ Night

Feb. 20, 6 p.m.

The Geauga County Democratic Party will host a candidates’ night at the party headquarters located at 12420 Kinsman Road, Newbury Township.

Enjoy a ham dinner and hear the local Democratic candidates discuss the March 17 primary election. Cost Is $13 for members $25 for non-members.

CV Herb Society Meets

The Chagrin Valley Herb Society will meet at the Bainbridge Public Library. Member Amber Slane, a professional florist and multi-year best-of-show winner for floral arranging at the Geauga County Fair, will present a floral design lecture demonstration featuring spring flowers.

The Cleveland Food Bank will be distributing food to people in need at Celebration Lutheran Church, 10621 Auburn Road in Chardon.

GOP Lincoln Day Dinner

The Geauga County Republican Party will celebrate its annual Lincoln Day dinner at The Tanglewood Club, 8745 Tanglewood Trail, Bainbridge Township. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

Keynote speaker will be Bob Paduchik with Trump Victory 2020. There will be special remarks by Congressman Dave Joyce and Ohio Supreme Court Justice Judi French, and a visit from Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. VIP and general admission tickets are available.
