St. Mary Catholic Church, 401 North St., Chardon, will host its annual all-you-can-eat fish fry from 4:30-7 p.m. Fridays in Lent except on Good Friday, April 10.
Pricing for dine-in guests is $13 for adults, $6 for children 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. Carryout pricing is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6-12. Takeout is available.

Montville Fire Dept. Fish Fry
Montville Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold fish fry dinners Fridays through April 3, from 5-7:30 p.m. The all-you-can-eat dinners will be held at Montville Community Center. Cost is $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and under.
Proceeds benefit the Montville Fire Department “Harrisburg Fund,” for the purchase of new fire hose and other fire fighting equipment.
St. Patrick’s Music Session
March 13, 6-8 p.m.
The Steele Mansion and Inn is sponsoring an open Irish music session at 348 Mentor Ave. Painesville.

Chili Cook-Off and Auction

Peace Lutheran Church will host a chili cook-off, Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and bake sale. The church is located at 12686 Bass Lake Road, Munson Township. Parking is available around back.
Spaghetti Dinner and Raffle
March 14, 6 p.m.
A spaghetti dinner and Chinese raffle fundraiser for New Promise Early Learning Center will be held at New Promise Church, 8671 Euclid-Chardon Road in Kirtland. Doors open at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m.
Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for youth 2-12 years and free for children under 2.

Irish Songs and Lullabies
March 14, 6 p.m.
The Munson Community Dancers, a non-profit dance troupe, presents Irish Songs and Lullabies at Munson Town Hall. Tickets are $5 each. Children 4 and under are free.
All proceeds benefit Munson Fire and Rescue and Munson Elementary School PTO.
The troupe offers free lessons every Thursday night at Munson Town Hall from 5-7 p.m. The dance lessons are open to the public, with all ages and abilities welcome.

LGRC ST. Patrick’s Dinner Dance

The Lake-Geauga Recovery Center’s Alumni Association is hosting a sober St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance at Painesville Township Park Community Center, 1025 Hardy Road. The event will feature Irish themed food and dessert, 50/50 raffle and dancing to classic rock music by Andy’s Last Band.

Lucky Charm Adoption Event

Rescue Village is hosting a five-day adoption special event! All adult dogs and cats ages 6 months and older will have a reduced adoption fee of only $17 per animal at Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Russell Township.
All adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have up-to-date vaccinations at the time of adoption.

Audubon Talks Trail Cams
March 17, 7 p.m.
Blackbrook Audubon will host Geauga Park District naturalist Tami Gingrich as she presents “Trail Cam Treasures” at Big Creek Park, 9160 Robinson Road in Chardon Township.
She will cover trail camera models and features as well as techniques she has developed over years of surveying with them on Geauga Park District property. Tami will also share many images and video obtained in her survey work.

Good Samaritan Dinner
March 18, 5-6:30 p.m.
The Burton Congregational Church, UCC, Good Samaritan Dinner will be held at the church on the square in Burton. Cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children 4-11 years old and free for children 3 and under.
Homemade meal consists of corned beef and cabbage, sides, beverage and dessert. Take-outs are available the day of the dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 440-834-4495.

Perennial Gardeners Meet

Joann Bartsh, a Cuyahoga County master gardener, will present “All About Alliums” at the next meeting of Perennial Gardeners of Chesterland at West Geauga Middle School, 8615 Cedar Road. Meetings are open to the public. Refreshments and meeting will follow the presentation.

CV Herb Society Meets

Dr. Bob Marquard, horticultural expert, researcher and teacher, will share his knowledge about hypertufa planters at the Chagrin Valley Herb Society gathering at the Bainbridge Library. Hypertufa construction materials and directions will be available for $10 as well as various pre-made containers ranging from $5 to $20.
The program will begin after a brief business meeting and refreshments and. Bring a mug. Guests are welcome.
Faith Rescue Mission Dinner

Parkman Congregational Church will hosts its monthly dinner to raise funds for the Geauga Faith Rescue Mission at the church located at 18265 Madison Rd, Middlefield. The menu changes monthly.
Donation is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $6 for children 5-10 and free to children 4 and under. Takeout is available for $12.
