ANIMAL PROBLEM
July 1
11:34 a.m., Munn Road, Auburn. Four cows running down Munn Road toward the freeway. Deputy advised of call. UTL.
CITIZEN ASSIST
June 30
12:28 p.m., Basswood Road, Munson. Caller would like to speak to a deputy about concerns she has over the BLM signs on Basswood Road off of Wilson Mills. Deputy can call her back. Advice provided.
CITIZEN DISPUTE
June 27
7:10 p.ml, Welk Road, Chardon. Caller was making a delivery around 4:55 p.m. and the homeowner came out with a shotgun. Homeowner exchanged words at end of driveway with caller because he believes caller was driving recklessly. Homeowner did not realize caller was an Amazon delivery driver delivering packages to his house. Vehicle not marked Amazon. Homeowner said he got his shotgun, slung it over his shoulder and stood on his patio far from caller. Said he never pointed the shotgun toward caller nor approached caller in threatening manner, and never verbally threatened caller. Caller reported incident to his supervisor and the house may be flagged in Amazon’s system. No direct threats.
June 29
2:53 p.m., Eden Park Drive, Chardon. Neighbors are cutting down trees and the debris is coming onto the caller’s property. “Freak” accident that a piece of tree went 100 yards and landed on neighbors’ patio. Advice given to both parties. No damage.
HARASSMENT
July 1
1:26 p.m., Nicki Lane, Hambden. We sold a vintage bike on Let go about a week ago for $350. Still have the bike. Buyer sent us a check with a lot of extra money on it. He wants me to give him Amazon cards and money grams. He is now making comments about his son coming to Ohio tomorrow. He has given us several names associated with this money. He has a California phone number and an OLN from Texas. Deputy advised of pending call and will handle. Report to follow.
SUSPICIOUS
June 29
8:43 p.m., Cloverdale Drive, Middlefield. Caller states his neighbors are calling him names. Stated he has had an ongoing dispute with approximately 12 families on Cloverdale and he is upset because he constantly is called names by these families as they walk by his house. He said he feels threatened because of the name calling, but that no actual threats were made. Caller said he no longer feels safe in the neighborhood and he would like to move. Caller advised to ignore the comments and contact GMHA about moving.
THREATENING
June 26
12:05 p.m., Mayfield Road, Huntsburg. Caller advised her daughter broke up with her boyfriend a month ago and he has sent the family angry texts advising he wants to come get his things and that he wants to cause damage to their barn. Advice given to caller and her daughter. No threats made.
7:07 p.m., Auburn Road, Auburn. By LaDue pull-off for boats. Caller is on a paddle board. Person onshore a man and a girl, they are threatening us. He told his dog to bite my husband in the penis. Caller made a comment about how the male parked and he overheard her and got mad. Caller wants responding officer to stand by while they loaded their paddleboards and left. Caller has since left and the male was advised about need to share the resources for other guests.
July 1
9:06 p.m., Frazier Drive, Munson. Caller was walking her mini pin and her neighbor approached her with a rat on his shoulder, and told her, “Are you going down Bradford?” She said “probably” and he said “you better not, I don’t know if I can control myself.” Caller responded “my son will protect me” and he said “your son may find you bloody on the street.” Nothing going on at the moment. Caller is home. Caller did tell neighbor that he better not let that rat down or the dog would get it, and that’s when the altercation started. Caller only wants neighbor spoken to about his behavior. Neighbor was advised not to have any further interaction with caller. She asked incident be on file and will call again if any additional issues arise.
