Monday Morning Breakfasts
The Farmington Senior Center has resumed Monday Morning Breakfasts with a full menu from 7 a.m. to noon. The center is Covid-19 compliant. Masks are required and guests will have their temperature taken at the door.
Reservations are recommended, but not necessary, for parties of one or two; call 330-889-2733. The center is under new management of Linda Evans, director.
Chester Christian Center Car Show
July 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Chester Christian Center Church is hosting its 18th annual car show at the church located at 11815 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township. The free event is open to the community.

GOP Headquarters Grand Opening
July 25, 3-5 p.m.
The Geauga County Republican Party is having a grand opening of its headquarters at the Chase Bank Building, 100 Center St., Suite 310, Chardon. Guests are asked to park in the back parking lot.
Guests are welcome to come up to the office on the third floor for a tour, meet Republican candidates, shop in the GOP retail store or sign up to be a volunteer. Bring a mask to wear inside the office.
There will be a canopy in the grassy area behind the building with candidate signs for those who do not wish to come inside.

Kiwanis Summer Concert Series
July 29, 7 p.m.
The West Geauga Kiwanis Club Bandstand Summer Concert Series continues at the gazebo in Chester Township Park with the The PopTarts performing a decade of hit favorites from the best of the ‘60s girl groups and female pop singers.
In the event of rain, concerts will be canceled. Kiwanis encourages the standard Covid-19 precautions with social distancing and masks are recommended.

HomeGrown Geauga 2020

Geauga Growth Partnership’s annual HomeGrown Geauga fundraising event is going virtual. The live streaming event features pre-party entertainment, videos and live interviews. Join emcees Scott Mihalic, auctioneer, and Kimm Leininger, president and CEO of GGP, for an evening of silent and live auction, $5,000 cash raffle and entertainment.

VFW Aux. Breakfast Raffle

Chardon VFW Auxiliary is serving breakfast from 9-10 a.m. followed by a $500 raffle at 10:15 a.m. Breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, french toast and more. Donation is $15.
