Rocky Cellars Partners, Inc., whose last known address is 4230 Chillicothe Road, Bldg. 1, Willoughby, Ohio 44094; Richard Crombie, Agent, whose last known address is 10110 Kile Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024, and present address is unknown, and cannot, with reasonable diligence, be ascertained shall take notice; and, if deceased, their unknown heirs, devises, legatees, administrators, executors and assigns will take notice that on the 31st day of January, 2020, the Treasurer Of Geauga County, filed a Complaint in the Court of Common Pleas, Geauga County, Ohio, located at 100 Short Court Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024 entitled Christopher P. Hitchcock, Treasurer Of Geauga County vs. Rocky Cellars Partners, Inc., et al., Case No: 20-F-000099, against the above-named parties, praying that the premises hereinafter described be sold for the collection of delinquent real estate taxes, owed and unpaid, is $2,047.39 together with accruing taxes, assessments, penalties, interest and charges; as well as court costs. Said premises is described as permanent parcel number 10-165267. A complete legal description of the parcel(s) can be obtained from the Geauga County Recorder’s Office. The volume and page number for the parcel(s) can be obtained from the Geauga County Auditor’s Office.
The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of delinquent taxes.
Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of the delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment against the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.
The above-named parties are required to answer on or before 28 days after the last date of publication. Such answer must be filed with the Clerk of Courts, and a copy must be served on the Prosecuting Attorney.

The Geauga County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the current owner or next of kin of deceased owner of a 1994 Chevrolet Pickup that was abandoned on E Park St in Burton, OH. The vehicle has been left and considered abandoned at AmeriTow in Burton. If you want to claim the vehicle, please call Dep. Sharon Harless at 440-279-2009 Ext. 4313. You will need to show some proof of ownership.

Notice is hereby given that Competitive Sealed Proposals, pursuant to R.C. 307.862, will be received at the office of the Geauga County Commissioners, 470 Center St. Building #4 Chardon, OH 44024, until 1:45 p.m. EDT on September 16, 2020 Proposals received shall be publicly opened and some contents read aloud the same day at 470 Center Street, Building #4 Commissioners Chambers, Chardon, Ohio 44024 at 2:00 p.m. EDT, September 16, 2020. In order to ensure fair and impartial evaluation, proposals and any documents or other records related to a subsequent negotiation for a final contract that would otherwise be available for public inspection and copying under section R.C. 149.43 shall not be available until after the award of the contract.
Proposals shall be for the provision of a records management solution containing software; hardware; licensing and permits; support and maintenance; image to film archival; disaster recovery; and micrographic conversion services. The primary goal is to implement a “State of the Art” automated and fully integrated Recording System for the management, receipting, indexing, imaging and archival and retrieval of official documents.
A complete copy of the Competitive Sealed Proposal may be obtained by emailing cmullins@co.geauga.oh.us or by accessing the Geauga County website at https://www.co.geauga.oh.us/Notices/Competitive-Sealed-Proposals. Paper copies are also available for pick-up at the Office of the County Recorder by request.
Proposals can be mailed to the Geauga County Commissioners, Attn: Christine Blair, Clerk, 470 Center St., Building #4 Chardon, OH 44024 or can be presented in person at the office of the Geauga County Commissioners, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Submitted proposals must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “RECORDER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICE PROPOSAL”. The deadline for submission of proposals is 1:45 p.m. EDT on September 16, 2020.
The successful offeror may be required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance of the contract in a sum of not less than One Hundred Percent (100%) of the estimated total proposal price for the complete work based on a yearly average of 15,000 documents, said bond to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio, and substantially meeting the requirements of ORC Section §153.57.
Geauga County reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals or any part thereof, and to waive any formalities and/or irregularities in the proposals. The County’s decision on any award is final. Each proposer must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of national origin, creed, color, or gender.
