The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of delinquent taxes.
Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of the delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment against the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.
The above-named parties are required to answer on or before 28 days after the last date of publication. Such answer must be filed with the Clerk of Courts, and a copy must be served on the Prosecuting Attorney.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO DECLARE FORFEITURE
To: Penn-Ohio Investment Corporation.
Be advised that Penn-Ohio Investment Corporation is the Lessee to an oil and gas lease originally granted by Timber Ridge Estates to Penn-Ohio Investment Corporation, dated November 30, 1984 and filed January 7, 1985 in Volume 728, Page 195 of the Geauga County Records. Said lease comprised approximately 124.433 acres of real property located in Hambden Township, Geauga County, Ohio. Pursuant to a deed recorded on March 23, 2012 in Book 1920 Page 1533 of the Official Records of the Geauga County Recorder, CR Acquisitions LLC owns the land covered by said lease, is owner and successor in interest in the property subject of this Notice, and is accordingly Lessor under said lease. Said lease has been abandoned and forfeited by the Lessee, its heirs, successors and assigns due to expiration of term, nonpayment of rent and lack of production. There are no producing oil and gas wells on said premises covered by said lease or any premises pooled with said lease.
NOW THEREFORE, the undersigned, CR Acquisitions LLC, does hereby declare the lease from Timber Ridge Estates to Penn-Ohio Investment Corporation to be forfeited. The City of Chardon Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider the applications described below on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held via Zoom Meeting at www.zoom.us or through the Zoom app. The meeting ID # 841 2642 0939. The meeting is subject to adjournment or recess to a later date without another Notice of Public Hearing. PC Case #20-0170: Applicant – Lisa & Ray Laino (Living Water Church) is requesting a Conditional Use approval for a Church / Religious Assembly in the “C-3” Traditional Commercial District under Section 1139.03 of the City of Chardon Codified Ordinances. The proposed use would be for religious services and classrooms. The proposed Conditional Use will be for approximately 2,025 sq. ft. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge in the tenant space that was formerly home to a dry-cleaning business.
The property is located on the south side of Water Street approximately 100’ east of the intersection of Water Street and Washington Street. The address of the property is 317/319 Water Street, Chardon, OH 44024, with Parcel ID# 10-055700. The property is owned by Geauga Aerie No. 2261 Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Sealed proposal for a Snow Plow Contractor will be received at the Cardinal Board of Education Offices, 15982 East High St., PO Box 188, Middlefield, Ohio 44062, until 10:00 am, Friday, October 16, 2020, and will be publicly opened, read, and tabulated immediately thereafter by the Treasurer. Copies of the specifications may be obtained by calling Brian Kelly, Maintenance Supervisor, at 216-407-1657 between the hours of 6:30 am and 3 pm. A review of the scope of work requested and a site visit will be handled at that time. All appropriate documents must be included with the bid in order to be considered.
