Chardon VFW Shrimp Dinners

Chardon VFW Post 6519 will serve butterflied shrimp and coleslaw dinners on Wednesdays in January at the post located at 752 Water St. Donation is $7.
The post also serves chicken wings on Tuesday evenings and hamburgers on Thursdays. All dinners are open to the public.
Free Food Distribution
Jan. 21, 12-6 p.m.
United Way has partnered with Dave’s Market and the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging and will be holding a drive-thru food distribution at Christ Presbyterian Church in Chester Township.

Spring Fish Sale
April 15, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
The Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual spring fish sale will be held on the midway at the Geauga County Fairgrounds. Orders are currently being taken for fingerling-size largemouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill/sunfish mix, minnows, redear “shellcracker” sunfish, white amurs and yellow perch. Pond safety kit are also available.
