Notes of Gratitude

Gift of Time and Understanding

Rarely do we have the opportunity to express gratitude to individuals who commit acts of kindness that make living such an enjoyable experience.

With this in mind, we would like to extend our gratitude to Deputy Hutchison of the Geauga County Sheriff’s Department, and the owners of Lucas Pest Management for giving a big-time assist to a lady in distress.

The lady in question is a resident of Sagamore Hills Township. She is in her late 80s and was in route to a doctor appointment in Cleveland. Her journey ended in Middlefield Township when she took a wrong turn and was lost.

Enter Deputy Hutchison, Chris and Stacy Lukaschun. Together they were able to determine who, what, where and when. After getting all the details, the Lukaschuns told Deputy Hutchison they would ensure our resident a safe journey home. Stacy drove the resident back to Sagamore Hills while Chris followed in our resident’s car.

This act of kindness was over 100 miles round trip and involved several hours.

Did we say WOW! If we didn’t, we do want to thank everyone for their gift of time and understanding.  With heartfelt gratitude to all involved. God Bless.
