Freshman Induction
The 180 members of the Class of 2025 celebrated their role in living out and advancing NDCL’s mission and core values during the Freshman Induction Ceremony in the Notre Dame Educational Center Chapel the evening of Sept. 20.
In her remarks to the freshmen, senior Brooke Begovic challenged the freshmen to develop connections with each other and God during their high school years.
“Notice how the D and C are intertwined on the NDCL logo,” Brooke said. “Think of the D as ‘develop’ and the C as ‘connections.’ This is a perfect, physical reminder to develop connections by coming together as a class, meeting new people, and strengthening your relationship with God.”
To commemorate the occasion, Principal Joseph A. Waler presented each freshman with an NDCL lapel pin and a personalized framed replica of the mission mural in the NDCL lobby featuring each student’s photo.
