Joyce Ineze Menko
CHARDON – Joyce Ineze Menko (nee Casella), age 58, of Chardon, peacefully passed away Oct. 2, 2021, surrounded by her family at home.
She was born Oct. 16, 1962, to Vincent and Marie (nee Woods) Casella, in Euclid.
Joyce married Paul Menko on July 21, 1984, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Wickliffe. They built their family home together in Chardon, where they raised their family and created lasting memories.
Joyce was a part of the family catering business, “Vince and Sons Catering,” for many years. She then worked for W. Brown Custom Jewelry and Design, where she enjoyed creating custom pieces.
She was a social butterfly and loved to dance. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Survived by her husband, Paul Menko, of Chardon; daughter, Melody (David Phillips) Strano, of Strongsville; son, Max Menko, of Chardon; grandson, Jaxson Strano; mother, Marie (nee Woods) Casella; and brothers, Basil (Carla) Casella and Rocco (Dana Struna) Casella.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by many.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, from 5-7 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon. Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.
