Travel the World
In Miss Thompson’s Travel the World class, the students began their exploration of North America by discovering unique features of various National Parks within the United States. To unlock more knowledge on the great continent, students randomly drew one of the 50 states and created a collage to represent all that their state has to offer.
Students noted celebrities and politicians from each state, geography, economic gain, history and unique facts, which they then presented to their classmates. Students also designed spectacular backgrounds to hold their information, notable ones being a fish to represent the variety of fish in Alaska, mountains for Vermont, fire for California and a bit of corn for Nebraska.

Sr. Barbara and the Geauga County Fair
Sister Barbara taught kindergarten students about the Great Geauga County Fair and how people enter their goods in the fair in hopes of receiving a ribbon. The students were able to try on the “best in show” ribbons because all are fantastic children of God.
Sister has also been teaching the students about the caterpillar/butterfly life cycle. They are enjoying seeing the baby caterpillars growing each week.
