Scientific Method
St. Helen School second-graders enjoyed learning about the scientific method by experimenting with gummy bears. They focused on changes they observed, how and why they observed the changes, all while enjoying a sweet treat.
Change War
St. Helen School is holding a change war. Their “change” for the world charity is underway. Students are excited to bring in their spare change help those in need. Each class is competing against each other, pennies are positive points and silver coins are negative points against an opponent. The change war provides the students with the opportunity to help those in need across the world.
Pet Blessing
St. Helen School had its annual pet blessing on the Feast of St. Francis, Oct. 4. Families brought their pets, great and small, for a special blessing from Fr. Jay.
