Halloween Tradition Continues

St. Helen School has resumed its annual Halloween party after taking a short break from Covid. The special Halloween party tradition started back in 1990. The party is a school event for families to gather as a community to enjoy Halloween fun, food, games and dancing. There are carnival style games that are facilitated by the seventh- and eighth-grade students, DJ, cake walk, photo booth and cotton candy machine.

It is no small feat to plan; it takes a team of helpers. For the past nine years Cindy Berschig and Jody Grzywinski have co-chaired the event to make it a memorable time for all. This year they welcomed over 300 excited people, many dressed in costume. The Geauga County Knight of Columbus Council 3304 help prepare and serve food for the event. St. Helen is thankful for their hard work and effort to make this a fun time for all.
