Arthur Harry Scott II
Arthur “Art” Harry Scott II, age 70, passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2023.
He was born on March 20, 1953, to Arthur Scott and Jule (nee Brown) in Cleveland.
Arthur met the love of his life, Debbie, on Halloween in 1973 and later married in July of 1975. Shortly after, they started a family and had a daughter and son whom he loved dearly.
Art was very active with Royal Rangers, the ministry of Painesville Assembly Church of God, from 1983 until he became ill.
He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.
Art cherished spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandson more than anything. He will be missed dearly by friends and family.
Art is survived by his wife, Debbie (nee DiNobile) Scott; daughter, Bonnie Shahan; grandchildren, Amy, Sarah, Hannah, Eric, Justin, Ben, Aniello and Trinity; and great-grandson, Jayson; Margie, his second mother for many years; and siblings, Albert and Jule.
He leaves behind his godson, James; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his parents; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Laura; and sister, Peggy.
The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. June 24, 2023, with a service following at 12 p.m., at the Painesville Assembly Church of God, 10949 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Painesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Royal Rangers Ministry.
