Patrick Joseph Cassidy
Patrick Joseph Cassidy, age 77, passed away peacefully June 27, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Patrick was born on June 17, 1946, in Cleveland, to the late John A. and Helen F. (nee Logan) Cassidy. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Barbara; and brother George Logan Cassidy.
Patrick is survived by his siblings, Hugh F. Cassidy (wife Maryann E.), Mary Ellen Greene (husband Thomas K.), Dennis John Cassidy and Brian W. Cassidy; nieces and nephew, Mary Colleen Rose Cassidy, Catherine Anne Rose Cassidy, Erin Frances Greene (husband Herman “Gus” Diggs) and Jonathan Andrew Greene; and many other loving family members and friends.
Patrick was a graduate of Holy Name High School, John Carroll University (Class of 1969) and The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). He was a First Lieutenant in the Army and was proud to serve his country.
He will be remembered as kind, loving and generous of spirit. He will be missed dearly.
Funeral Mass for Patrick will be held at Saint Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury, on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 1 p.m.
Patrick will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, 10000 Miles Ave., Cleveland, on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 11 a.m.
