Allen A. Gingerich
Allen A Gingerich, age 81, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, July 15, 2023, at home while surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Middlefield, on Oct. 18, 1941, to the late Abraham S. and Amanda (nee Schmucker) Gingerich.
Allen married his best friend and love of his life, Amanda Miller, on Nov. 19, 1963.
In addition to owning the Olde Towne Grille in Middlefield for over 40 years, Allen enjoyed boating, nature, motorcycle riding and, most of all, his family and friends.
He will be dearly missed by Amanda, his wife of 59 years; children, Sally Gingerich and Ray (Kathy) Gingerich; grandchildren, Rachel, Brooke, Chris and Jordan; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; and three sisters.
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Aug. 12, 2023, at Heritage Marketplace Event Center, 15848 Nauvoo Road, Middlefield.
