Whereas, Chapter 3709.09 and 3709.21 of the Ohio Revised Code outlines the duties of a local Board of Health to establish uniform fees and regulations deemed necessary, and

Whereas, Section 3709.21 of the Ohio Revised Code authorizes a Board of Health to establish fees, adopt/record and publish such regulations and fees and publish once a week for two consecutive weeks. Such changes take effect ten days from the date of first publication.

Resolved, that the purpose of preserving and promoting public health and safety regarding the Household Treatment Sewage System Program Chapter 3701-29 of the Ohio Administrative code are hereby amended and adopted as follows:

On July 12, 2023, the Board of Health adopted the following wording for Section 3701-29-19E of the Ohio Home Sewage Treatment System Rules, Geauga County Supplemental Rules:

“The Geauga County Board of Health adopts a rule requiring the collection of the required annual sample to be completed by Geauga County Board of Health.”  The previous wording to this regulation (3701-29-19E) has been rescinded.
