Geauga County
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code 5715.17 the Geauga County Board of Revision has completed the valuations for Tax Year 2023 (payable in 2024) and are now open for public inspection. Said valuations may be checked online at https://auditor.geauga.oh.gov or at the Real Estate Department of the Geauga County Auditor’s Office, located at the Courthouse Annex, 231 Main St., Suite 1A, Chardon, Ohio 44024. Any complaint against the valuation may be filed with the Board of Revision January 1, 2024, to March 31, 2024, in the Geauga County Auditor’s Office.

Notice is hereby given that the Munson Township Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on a motion which is an amendment, identified as number 2023-02 to the Munson Township Zoning Map at the Munson Town Hall, 12210 Auburn Road at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
The motion proposing to amend the zoning map will be available for examination at the Munson Town Hall, 12210 Auburn Road from 9:00 o’clock a.m. to 3:00 o’clock p.m. from December 18, 2023 through January 10, 2024.
After the conclusion of the public hearing, the matter will be submitted to the board of township trustees for its action.

ZONING RESOLUTION
Notice is hereby given that the Chester Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an application identified as number ZA-2024-1, on an appeal for an area variance to the Chester Township Zoning Resolution on the 8th day of January, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Chester Town Hall.
The applicant, David Allen Perchinske, Jr. is requesting an Area Variance for his property located at 12827 Morning Glory Trail. He proposes building an accessory building with a proposed wall height of 15’ and a ridge height of 19’2”, which exceeds the maximum allowable. This application fails to meet Section 5.01.05 of the Chester Township Zoning Resolution.
