ANIMAL PROBLEM

Dec. 16

3:46 p.m., Auburn and Colburn Roads, Chardon. Auburn south of Colburn there is an Emu walking down the road.

ANIMAL BITE

Dec. 15

4:16 p.m., GAR Highway, Hambden. Caller advised that she had patio workers there and the neighbors two dogs just attacked and bit the one workers leg. Caller wants to make a report with an officer in regards to ongoing issues with this neighbor. Paged Dog Warden. Caller declined the squad. Video shows no dogs by neighbors. Advised to keep dogs contained.

BURGLARY

Dec. 19

5:28 p.m., Hotchkiss Road, Newbury. Caller advising his brothers house has been in probate for the last

year. Front door was kicked in some time in the last week. He went there yesterday and someone with a white Dodge truck and trailer occupied by three males was sitting across the street. He believes they broke in and took several items. Drill press, bench grinder, jointer and several other tools. Hand tools and power tools. Caller has no idea who these men are and they shouldn’t have been there. Fresh tire tracks were observed yesterday as well. Caller would like extra patrol of the area. Caller is no longer at the property. He has returned home to his house in Hartville.

SUSPICIOUS

Dec. 15

2:20 a.m., Downey Glen Trail, Auburn. Male advised drone on property this morning. Caller advised ongoing issue-deputies have responded out before for same issue. Reported drones flying outside his window. Deputy arrived and observed a bright star in the sky. No sign of drones present while deputy was on scene.

5:23 p.m., Plank Road, Montville. White BGS Mac truck driving by honking again. Caller advised that he finds it funny, that every time they call in to report this, the rest of the night is full of people honking when they go by the house. Caller called back to advise the truck just went by again towards 166. Called back again advised another truck went by blaring the horn going northbound. The area was checked. No honking horns heard.

Dec. 17

3 p.m., Nash Road, Parkman. Pickup truck seems abandoned at the caller’s shop. Lead shows vehicle is stolen. Stolen out of Portage. Portage advised for Geauga County Sherriff to tow and they will process

next day. Interstate removed truck, towed to their lot and will be stored inside.

8:05 p.m., Georgia Road, Burton. Caller was driving on Georgia near the Amish school, a black shadow came out of the ditch and threw a rock at her car. No report at this time, if she has damage she will call back.

Dec. 19

3:27 p.m., Nicki Lane, Hambden. Caller is 11 years old and is home alone, and someone is knocking on the door. He doesn’t know his address. His door is locked. Two juveniles, one is wearing a green shirt and the other kid has no hand. They are still outside. No one will be home for a couple hours. They are banging on another door which doesn’t lock. But caller has it barricaded. Two juvenile males calling each other names on the bus. Both parents advised of the situation and will handle.

Dec. 21

7:59 a.m., Roryanna Drive, Chardon. Caller advised his wife could hear screaming coming from the bike path, two males seen, one was sprinting with no shirt on to a neighbor’s house, another male

running with pants around his ankle. Caller thinks that may be heading towards

Route 44. Caller advised they were yelling for about 15 minutes. Caller advised he doesn’t hear anything anymore, but they stayed on the bike path.

9:49 a.m., Newcomb Road, Middlefield. Female that has stolen before is in the store and they think she has items hidden on her right now. Unkown vehicle right now. Leopard coat, blond hair. Female got into a blue Lincoln or something similar. Unknown if she’s actually taken anything this time. She was seen putting items in her pockets but unknown what. They have not yet had a chance to check inventory but will soon. Theft of wrinkle cream. Female arrested. See report.

THEFT AUTO

Dec. 17

8:25 a.m., Amblaire Road, Parkman. White Ford F-150 taken sometime overnight. Caller’s Ford app shows the vehicle at 4227 Templeton Road, Warren. Trumbull County Sheriff will check the above address for this vehicle. F-150 located, recovered and released to victim from scene. See report.

THEFT

Dec. 17

8:29 p.m., Rapids Road, Troy. Dirt bike and three 4-wheelers stolen. Sometime over night. Theft of ATVs. Report taken.

Dec. 19

2:28 p.m., Washington Street, Auburn. Purse taken out of car. Black Volvo. Report taken.

WELFARE CHECK

Dec. 17

5:03 p.m., Mayfield Road, Joy’s Place, Munson. A resident believes he’s a Warlock and he’s making black magic on the staff. The resident is 27 year-old male. He’s not being violent. Deputy spoke with the staff who advised they didn’t call and weren’t even aware of any issues. Deputies cleared without

incident Male is in his room.
