Virginia Tincher

Virginia was born Feb. 25, 1943, in Chardon, to Joseph and Violet (nee Gonci) Ceroky. She married Donald Tincher on June 8, 1968. Their son, Adam Tincher, was born in 1972.
Virginia was a longtime teacher with most of her career at Chardon High School, teaching English for 35 years. She loved being a teacher and looked forward to each year of new students. She enjoyed helping each student learn the value of good English skills.
Survivors include her son, Adam, of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Grace and Noah; brother, Ken Ceroky (June); and sister, Carol Jean (Ceroky) Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, from 12-3 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m.
